Linux versus Windows

PartedMagic is a seriously powerful, seriously free tool. If you want to buy something that does the same things this does you would spend at least 30 dollars, but more likely 60. Let’s see: Norton PartitionMagic 8.0

That is a pretty good price… if you want to waste money. HAHA, suck it if you use windows, you probably use that too.

Parted Magic is a small live CD/USB/PXE with its elemental purpose being to partition hard drives. Although GParted and Parted are the main programs, the CD/USB also offers other applications, such as Partition Image, TestDisk, fdisk, sfdisk, dd, ddrescue, etc.
